Utility operator

The Role & Key Responsibilities

We’re the UK’s leading manufacturer of pig and poultry compound feed, and we know that by working closely with our customers, we can take the intelligence and science behind nutrition and turn it into practical solutions that enable their businesses to grow.

We're looking for Utility Operators to join our team at ABN Cupar, to contribute to the production of industry leading pig and poultry compound feed.

You will be responsible for weighing and loading/unloading palleted raw material and finished products onto and off lorries, while carrying out a range of quality checks and also ensuring that Health, and Safety standards are met. In addition, you will provide support with a range of tasks performed within the production facility.

You must be a team player, having worked in an environment where you have supported others within their roles, ideally in a food, agriculture or production environment where you have been multi-skilled trained. Experience within feed milling operations and an understanding of process control systems is preferred but not essential. You must have basic IT skills. Previous forklift experience preferred but not essential as training will be given.

This role is shift based so flexibility is important, as is good attention to detail and having excellent communication skills.
