The Role & Key Responsibilities

AB Connect offers nutrition and feed manufacture expertise through a range of businesses to help farmers, producers and businesses all along the UK food and farming supply chain. We’re part of the AB Agri community of leading animal nutrition products and services businesses.  Join us and support our work with customers around the globe to produce sustainable food for a growing population.

In AB Connect, we have a common set of inspirational behaviours that we all try to live day in, day out. Our Winning Ways of Responsible, Inquisitive, Brave and Inclusive will help us deliver our ambitious goals.

Reporting to the site Transport Manager, you'll safely and effectively perform bulk blown animal feed deliveries to our customers. You must be a team player, in addition to being able to work well individually. This job works on a 24/7 mill and is shift based, so a degree of flexibility is required.

We're looking for someone with an HGV Class 1 Licence, Driver CPC and ideally someone with experience using blowing equipment, however this is not essential.

What's really important to us is that you're self-motivated, a team player and a great communicator. Great customer service skills and a desire to meet customer expectations are also very important to us.

Good for people, Good for business

We are a growing, innovative business and we value diversity and different ways of thinking to keep moving us forward.  AB Agri is an equal opportunity employer, assuring equal treatment to all.  We know that an inclusive environment makes us more accessible and ensures we attract, engage, promote and retain exceptional people.

We are united by our family values that represent who we are, how we work together and how we help our customers.

  • Pioneering – Curious, spirited and bold. We lead, the right way.
  • Excellence – We seek excellence in all that we do.
  • Growth – We create ways for our people and customers to thrive.

We are part of Associated British Foods (ABF), a diversified international food, ingredients and retail group.
