The Role & Key Responsibilities

Job Title: Installation & Support Technician  

Location: Hybrid – Remote/On Farm covering Wisconsin and Michigan

Have you got experience with Dairy Farming, feeding Dairy cows or an interest in the farming industry and the future of Agri technology? Are you fluent in English and Spanish? If so, we have an opportunity to join our growing team in a newly created role!

You will join a large global company who are moving into new markets within the US so you will have the support and the excitement of a growing platform within a well-established business. You will be responsible for supporting our farmer customers in a mix of remote and on-farm support as the interface between them and the business working closely with farmers, farm workers, commercial sales teams, industry suppliers and wider business support across Europe and the US.

You will support our customers with accountability for the initial hardware installation, configuration and support associated with farm set up, training and post install support as well as having responsibility for:

  • Interface between technical functions and sales teams
  • Deliver on farm installation and set up supporting with customer onboarding
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers and distributors
  • Maintain databases
  • Handle incidents and escalated issues internally and externally where required
  • Keep up to date with industry networks/information supporting business growth and being an active part of the wider business

You will be working closely with Dairy farmers, farm workers, commercial sales teams and industry suppliers and partners therefore experience of the dairy or farming industry will be key to success in this role along with the following knowledge, and experience:

  • Fluent in English and Spanish both verbal and written
  • Comfortable on a working farm environment
  • Experience with Hardware installation & configuration
  • Experience of working on a support desk, ticket logging or with technical troubleshooting
  • Excellent customer service and support mindset


This role will be a mix of remote home-based support and on farm installations therefore travel will be a required for this role. For the right person we can be flexible on location therefore you could be based in Michigan or Wisconsin USA.
