The Role & Key Responsibilities

Job Title: Head of Supply Chain Operations – 6-Month FTC

Location: Flexible, Rotterdam or UK/Europe with regular travel to NL

Contract and shift details: Fixed Term or Internal Secondment 6 months

Have you got experience of looking at overall supply chain processes, identifying improvement opportunities and suggesting ways to optimise efficiencies to suggest actions that can improve overall performance? If so, we have an opportunity for you!

We’re investing in our supply chain; with this new role you will be responsible for reviewing and mapping out our existing processes within our global supply chain teams, helping help us build an action plan/identify where we can implement improvements.

Areas you will look at will include some of the following:

  • Ordering, shipping, receipt, storage and delivery of products or materials
  • Analysing supply chain budgets – identify and deliver financial savings
  • Reviewing compliance and regulation requirements
  • Systems and technology
  • Operational costs and services
  • Quality and customer requirements
  • Cross supply chain processes

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a role with global reach giving you the chance to work closely with regional Heads of Supply Chain in our key locations and drive continuous improvement.

To be successful in this role some of the things we are looking for:

  • Relevant qualifications or previous experience in wider supply chain functions
  • Experience of working in a multi-cultural business ideally with international/global reach
  • Ability to work to a deadline to deliver with minimal supervision

Location

For this role we can be flexible subject to experience. We are looking for someone who can work closely with our Rotterdam team but there may also be international travel. We would be open to someone based in the UK or Europe who would be able to travel on a semi-regular basis to our Rotterdam office.
