Internal Communications Manager - 12 Month Maternity Cover

The Role & Key Responsibilities

We’re looking for someone to join our Communications Team – 12 month maternity cover role

We are looking for an experienced communications professional to manage a range of group communications activities and channels, during an exciting period of growth for AB Agri.

A communications professional through and through, you’ll find the diversity, ambition, culture and impact of our organisation as deeply fascinating and compelling as the industry we work in and the customers we serve.

Covering a 12 month maternity leave post, you will actively support and advise key business stakeholders with their functional communication and engagement strategies and work closely with senior leaders to deliver high impact communications that support our business strategy and objectives.

You will manage the development and measure the effectiveness of our communications channels to connect our global communities and deliver high quality communication content (newsletters, videos, emails) ensuring they are clear, unambiguous, easily understood and reflect our tone of voice.

Working collaboratively across the business, supporting the central functions, the role will help share and build knowledge of industry best practice; helping support the development of communication methodologies, in line with the shifting business focus and employee expectations.

 

Skills & Experience
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a communications role with a communications, marketing or other relevant qualification
  • Demonstrable experience of building and maintaining effective working relationships with senior leaders
  • Proven track record of communicating effective, brand aligned and engaging messages across a range of internal and external communication channels 
  • Experienced in copywriting, and translating ideas and insights into effective communications
  • Effective working at pace with ability to flex and prioritise a broad number of projects to meet business needs
  • Experience of successfully delivering organisation change through strong communication and engagement projects
  • Familiar with digital channel programmes and strategies, inclusive of new and emerging technologies that support content/message delivery and measurement
