Sales Specialist - Cheshire

The Role & Key Responsibilities

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Sales Specialist to join our team, operating under the KW brand of our business.

The Sales Specialist is accountable for establishing and implementing a successful sales strategy for their defined territory, whilst operating within the overall framework set by the Feed Ingredients leadership team.

This role is the main field-based interface between AB Connect and all ruminant retail accounts within a designated area. This role operates as part of a sales model, adopting the current segmentation approach and working collaboratively with the aligned office based account manager.

Having accountability for the commercial relationships with clients within the defined area, the Sales Specialist will ensure  all aspects of pricing, contract agreement and management, development of both existing and new accounts, and all administration is completed correctly and in a timely fashion.

This role will be home based, however travel will be required throughout the territory, as well as to national venues.

Skills & Experience
  • Strong ‘Solution based’ selling skills, attributing value to customer benefits.
  • Good commercial negotiator, with experience in an agricultural / B2C sales role.
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Ability to prioritise and delegate where necessary
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to prioritise business focus and resources
  • In depth understanding of the fundamental drivers of the UK ruminant industry
