The Role & Key Responsibilities

Part Time - 3 full days per week

Exciting opportunity to join AB Connect Procurement function within the Raw Material Quotes and Contracting team. Working in a fast paced environment, dealing with volatile commodity markets, supporting commercial and buying teams by providing costings information driven by the raw material markets. Management of incoming sales contracts and communication of sales commitments to the buying team.

Key Responsibilities

  • To produce timely and accurate customer costings that are produced in line with business deadlines.
  • To accurately produce and process customer book reconciliations in the timescales required.
  • Issuing daily replacement prices and quotations as required.
  • Processing of sales contract confirmations and amendments whilst checking that prices are still appropriate, coordinating with the Commercial team and purchasing teams in a timely manner. Working as part of a team ensuring that incoming confirmations are being picked up at all times.
  • Input of blanket orders and sales allocations as required.
  • Provide assistance for maintenance of the Microsoft AX sales allocations tables. Removing duplication, eliminating zero costs, checking for input errors etc.
  • Run a range of weekly reports to cover for raw material usages and potential raw material risk.
  • Run and issue finished feed and market raw material prices and upload into the relevant business systems. (AX and FORMAT)
  • Receive, input and issue additional raw material ingredients from suppliers on a regular and periodic basis.
  • Participate in other departmental or adhoc activities are required.

Experience and key Behaviours

  • An aptitude and ability to interpret and question figures.
  • Highly numerate, a good working knowledge of Excel, accuracy and attention to detail are key to this role.
  • Previous experience in a data driven or sales administrative role.
  • A good communicator with an ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Able to prioritise and manage own workload.
