We are investing heavily in our Enstone site and have a great opportunity for someone to come in and support with the journey to making improvements to our mill, processes and people. You will priortise Health & safety and promote a culture of Feed Safety focused on best practice. We are looking for someone who can engage our people maximising the mill to reduce waste, maximise cost opportunities while delivering excellent customer service and on time in full production.

Some key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop a site culture where Health & Safety, Feed Safety are a priority
  • Understand/prepare for Feed Safety and HSE audits managing pre audit preparation and post audit action planning/roll out that will positively contribute to improving compliance and overall safety at all levels.
  • Support and champion the delivery of a CI mindset alongside the CI Programme engaging with the teams to make suggestions and contribute to overall site improvement
  • Ensure delivery of key KPIs which measure the outputs ensuring that processes are working effectively
  • Manage the agreed budget (dependent on volume and product mix)
  • Role model and lead the way on our Winning Ways of working: Be Brave, Be Inclusive, Be Inquisitive and Be Responsible.
  • Be a trusted leader, inspiring the teams, promoting best practice and supporting and developing the site
  • Collaborate with the wider Manufacturing, Logistics and Central support functions to improve every day and deliver to the overall business strategy.

To be successful we are looking for the following knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Experience of managing a whole site through a period of change ideally in a manufacturing/plant-based manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience of managing audits from preparation to post audit action implementations
  • Lean Manufacturing / CI Experience with tangible benefits and results
  • Budget management experience preferably with forecasting capacity.
  • Constructive leader, able to influence both direct reports, peers and the wider business.
