The Role & Key Responsibilities

Job Title: Health and Safety Coordinator
Location: Videbaek, Denmark
Role: Full Time / Permanent

As a key contributor to our business objectives, you will be ensuring compliance with HSE tasks and regulations, implementing, and maintaining the HSE Management System, and coordinating staff training initiatives. This role requires the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, and critically assess solutions.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Support the implementation of business unit Health & Safety and Environmental Policy arrangements and associated standards effectively.
  • Organize, prepare, hold, and report on annual health and safety discussions. Organize, prepare, conduct, and record meetings of security groups efficiently.
  • Operate and coordinate the Working Environment Organisation (AMO-Arbejdsmiljøorganisation) effectively. Coordinate and prepare risk assessments promptly.
  • Coordinate the selection of Working Environment Representatives (AMR-Arbejdsmiljørepræsentant) efficiently.
  • Manage chemicals effectively.
  • Manage accident investigations timely and effectively.
  • Support site management teams' induction process, including emergency procedures, AIMS system overview, and HSE management system.
  • Support the Quality Department as needed by preparing COAs (Certificate of Analysis) and conducting internal quality audits.
  • Implement Health, Safety, and Environment training programs collaboratively with HR and Site management teams, including training for Working Environment Organisation (AMO-Arbejdsmiljøorganisation) members and ERT Team.

 

What you will bring:

  • Experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Innovative and forward thinking
  • Effective communicator at distinct levels
  •  Ability to critically think, risk assess and review options to identify the right solution.
  •  OHS knowledge.
  • Communicative English and fluent Danish
  • Proven knowledge of H&S and Environmental legislation, good practise, and controls
  • Ideally experience in a previous similar HSE role.

Location: The role is based in Videbaek, Denmark, with the option to work from home for 2-3 days per week.
