Job Title: ERP Project Director
Location: Peterborough, UK / Europe (Home Based)

Are you ready to take on a key role within AB Agri? We're seeking an accomplished ERP Project Director to collaborate closely with our leadership team and spearhead the implementation of our business-wide ERP project.

Why This Role Matters:

Collaborating closely with the CFO, CIO, Head of Programme Technology, and business MDs, your role will facilitate the smooth integration of our new ERP system, ensuring that it meets the requirements of our business whilst also improving stakeholder engagement.

We've scoped out the project and system requirements and are now ready to go into pilot mode at our first site and then continue a global roll out against our multi year plan.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Project Leadership: Oversee all facets of the project lifecycle, from planning to execution, ensuring alignment with overarching business priorities.
  • Solution Development: Evaluate business requirements to develop tailored ERP solutions that optimise processes and meet AB Agri needs.
  • Team Management: Guide and motivate our project team, promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage and motivate stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery, maintaining open communication channels throughout.
  • Supplier Management: Oversee third-party supplier relationships and uphold high quality project governance standards.
  • Change Management: Partner with the Programme Change Lead to progress management initiatives and ensure widespread user adoption of ERP benefits.
  •  Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work with cross-functional teams to identify operational gaps and design effective, integrated solutions.
 
What You'll Bring:
  • Proven Leadership: Demonstrated proven history of running ERP implementation projects or similar initiatives from initiation to completion.
  •  Project Management Skills: Proficiency in project and programme management, including budget management and third-party provider management.
  • People Leadership: Ability to guide and motivate teams during fast-paced, complex projects, with a focus on problem-solving and tough decision-making.
  • ERP Expertise: In-depth knowledge and experience using ERP systems, coupled with proactive risk management skills.
  • Resilience and Responsibility: Ability to maintain composure in complex situations, adapt quickly to changing demands, and maintain steady leadership and decision-making.
  • Communication and Influencing: Effective communication and influencing skills to articulate clear visions and foster collaboration among stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: High organizational skills to efficiently prioritize tasks and manage time in a diverse environment.
Location
 
This role can be based anywhere in the UK but will require regular travel to our Peterborough head office.  When the ERP is in implementation stages regular international travel will be required to sites.
