The Role & Key Responsibilities

Job Title: Regional Commercial Director - South Asia 
Location: Pune, India 
 

Are you ready to guide a sales team towards commercial growth in one of the most vibrant and rapidly evolving regions in the world? We're seeking a visionary Regional Commercial Director - South Asia to spearhead our company's growth and expansion in India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Nepal. You'll have a sound understanding of feed and livestock industries, coupled with a proven history of accomplishment in animal nutrition or feed additives/ingredients industries within our market.

 

What you'll be doing:

 
  • Strategic Leadership: As the South Asia Regional Commercial Director, you'll be at the helm of implementing commercial activities across multiple markets. Your strategic prowess will guide our sales teams towards maximizing revenue and exceeding corporate goals.
  • Team Management: You'll supervise and motivate a sales team, ensuring they're equipped with the tools and knowledge needed to thrive. Your leadership will create a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Market Analysis and Planning: With your finger on the pulse of regional market trends, you'll identify growth opportunities and develop tailored plans to ensure both short-term wins and long-term benefit.
  • Financial Acumen: You'll oversee budgeting, forecasting, and expense management for the region, ensuring alignment with global strategies while ensuring profitability and growth.
  • Customer Focus: Building and nurturing positive customer relationships will be at the core of your role. You'll address customer issues promptly, suggest innovative solutions, and champion customer satisfaction.
  • Innovation and Development: Your commitment to continual improvement will support the development of new services and products, keeping us at the forefront of innovation and customer satisfaction.
  • Industry Engagement: Representing our company at industry events and conferences, you'll leverage your network to generate new business leads and expand our market presence.

 

What you'll bring

 
  • A sound understanding of feed and livestock industries with a proven track of accomplishment in animal nutrition or feed additives/ingredients industries in our market.
  • Ability to measure and analyse key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs) 
  • Previous experience of developing and motivating high performing sales teams ideally from a similar industry.
  • Experience of product development & testing, including nutrition & gut health related additives
  • Proven history of achieving targets and accelerating sales growth in a business.
  • Key customers contact / relationship in India
  • Fluent in English
