The Role & Key Responsibilities

Job Title: Order Handler / Stock Controller (Job Share)
Location: Kilkenny, Ireland
Contract: Permanent, 20 hours per week (Job share arrangement)

Typically working days and hours: Monday to Friday. Flexibility is available; please discuss potential options with our hiring team.

With a presence in Europe and the USA, we’re growing rapidly and are seeking a highly organised Order Handler / Stock Controller to join our Kilkenny-based team. In this key role, you’ll help ensure that our customers receive the right products, on time, while maintaining smooth operational processes.

 

Some key responsibilities will include:

  • Order Processing: Manage incoming orders, ensuring accurate and timely shipments to customers.
  • Stock Control: Monitor stock levels, order and purchase supplies as needed, and maintain accurate stock records.
  • Quality Control & Logistics: Ensure product quality before dispatch, liaise with third-party logistics providers, and manage import/export documentation.
  • Customer Communication: Provide updates on order status, address customer inquiries, and assist the installation team with scheduling and aftercare.

  • Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and in-house systems.
  • Effective communicator, capable of liaising with both internal teams and external customers.
  • Experience in stock control, inventory management, or supply chain processes, with knowledge of import/export procedures; multilingual skills are a plus (English required).
