Job Title: Dairy Economist / Dairy Farms Specialist
Location: Kiel, Germany
Contract: Initial 12-month contract with a view to permanent employment. Full-time (40 hours per week)

We’re hiring a Dairy Economist to lead research and consulting in dairy farming, build data products, manage international projects, and conduct economic impact analyses for global clients—helping shape the future of dairy. What you'll be doing:
- Leading and executing internal and external B2B international consulting projects.
- Developing new data services for analysing dairy farms and different farming systems, with a focus on sustainability aspects (including the economic impact of new technologies and policies).
- Collecting and validating data, and developing databases and analytical models.
- Analysing dairy farms, markets, and different farming systems to create presentations, workshops, and event outputs worldwide.
- Communicating and collaborating with research partners and business clients.
What you'll bring:
- PhD/MSc in agriculture, dairy science, agricultural economics, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of global dairy production systems and practical experience on dairy farms.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience managing large datasets.
- Skills in statistical data analysis, data management, and complex problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills, intercultural competence, and fluency in English.
- Willingness to travel internationally and flexibility in working hours.
