You'll play a key role in designing and delivering cutting-edge weaning pig nutrition trials, collaborating with respected researchers, university partners, and technical specialists while helping shape the future of sustainable pig production.
What you'll be doing:
- Design, set up and manage weaning pig nutrition trials, including protocol preparation and diet formulation.
- Process trial data, conduct statistical analyses, and prepare clear scientific reports.
- Lead and support external research projects with university and research partners.
- Collaborate with R&D researchers, Technical Area Managers, and laboratory colleagues to coordinate research activities.
- Support sample collection activities, including blood and faecal sampling, when required.
What you'll bring:
- Hands-on experience conducting pig nutrition and performance research, particularly with weaning pigs.
- A Master's degree or PhD in Animal Science, Animal Nutrition, Veterinary Science, or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of experimental design, data management, and statistical analysis.
- Experience using statistical software such as JMP, R, or similar tools to analyse and interpret research data.
- The ability to work effectively with internal teams and external research partners, communicating scientific findings clearly.
Your experience may come from industry, academia, a research institute, or a university research environment, including PhD or postdoctoral research roles. Practical experience delivering pig nutrition trials will be highly valued.
