  • Global Supply Chain Director
     

    Location: Home-based with UK and international travel

    We're looking for a Global Supply Chain Director to lead our end-to-end supply chain, manufacturing and operational strategy across Europe and North America. Reporting to the Managing Director and sitting on the Global Leadership Team, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of the business, ensuring our operations are scalable, efficient and resilient while supporting growth, innovation and customer success.

    What you'll be doing

    •  Lead global supply chain, manufacturing and operations across multiple international locations.
    • Drive improvements in safety, quality, service, cost and operational performance.
    • Strengthen planning, procurement, inventory and logistics capabilities to improve customer delivery and business resilience.
    • Lead strategic operational projects, including continuous improvement and transformation initiatives.
    • Partner with commercial, R&D and functional leaders to successfully scale new products and technologies.
    • Develop high-performing teams and build leadership capability across the global operations function.

    What you'll bring

    •  Significant senior leadership experience in supply chain, operations or manufacturing within a global, multi-site environment.
    •  Proven success leading operational transformation, business improvement and organisational change programmes.
    • Strong commercial understanding and the ability to balance customer, operational and financial priorities.
    • Experience leading diverse international teams and influencing across complex stakeholder groups.
    • Degree qualified in a relevant discipline such as supply chain, engineering, manufacturing or science.

    Location

    This role can be based in any location where Germains operates - The Netherlands, United Kingdom, Spain or California, USA.  As a global role the postholder should expect to travel up to 50% of the time.
