Job Title: Microsoft Power Platform Developer

Our Global Technology Services (GTS) Automation Team is looking for a motivated and skilled Power Platform Developer to join our growing Centre of Excellence. In this role, you’ll play a key part in designing, developing and deploying Power Platform solutions across a diverse, global business — delivering meaningful change through innovation and collaboration.
What you’ll be doing:
- Designing, building and maintaining solutions using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven), Power Automate, and Dataverse
- Collaborating with stakeholders across the business to understand requirements and translate them into scalable Power Platform solutions
- Managing assigned development mandates from definition through to delivery and post-implementation support
- Creating clear and concise technical documentation and ensuring smooth handover to operational teams
- Supporting the evolution of development standards, processes and best practices within the Automation Team
- Keeping up to date with the latest Power Platform capabilities and contributing to our roadmap adoption of new tools like Power Pages and Co-Pilot
- Providing technical advice and mentorship to junior team members and non-technical stakeholders
- Working closely with other IT teams, business analysts and project managers to ensure alignment on solutions and integration with wider systems
What you’ll bring:
- Experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven) and Power Automate
- Practical experience working with Dataverse or similar relational data sources
- Proficient understanding of Microsoft 365 services commonly used with Power Platform (e.g. SharePoint, Teams, Outlook)
- Ability to build and maintain APIs, custom connectors, and work with JSON and basic JavaScript
- Familiarity with Azure tools such as Logic Apps, Function Apps, and DevOps
- A structured approach to development, with the ability to document, test and support your solutions
- Effective communication skills, able to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to self-manage tasks within a small, fast-paced technical team
Location
This role is predominantly home-based and can be performed remotely - occasional visits to our recently refurbished Peterborough office on Lynchwood Business Park may be required.
