Job Title: IT Business Analyst
Location: Peterborough (Hybrid)

Our team is seeking a skilled IT Business Analyst to join their innovative and growing function. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in major projects, including ERP, MES, and new system implementations, ensuring our technology and processes evolve to meet the needs of an internationally expanding business.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing the analysis, design, and testing phases of key IT projects, including ERP, MES, DRM, and other enterprise systems.
- Working closely with stakeholders to capture, document, and translate business requirements into effective solutions.
- Acting as the bridge between business and IT teams, ensuring solutions align with the Target Operating Model and IT strategy.
- Creating process models, specifications, diagrams, and supporting documentation to guide project teams and developers.
- Supporting the delivery of projects in a constantly evolving environment, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Ensuring solutions are implemented on time, to quality standards, and within agreed budgets.
- Contributing to the development and standardisation of business analysis practices within the team.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams across UK and international sites, including occasional travel.
What you’ll bring
- Experience as an IT Business Analyst, leading large-scale systems projects (e.g., ERP, MES, WMS, HR, Payroll, Process Control).
- Strong understanding of business analysis methods, with experience in requirement gathering, process mapping, and solution design.
- Direct experience with project delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches).
- Proficient in conveying information and collaborating with senior stakeholders and end users alike.
- A curious and detail-oriented mindset paired with an effective problem-solving strategy.
- Ability to work across multiple projects in a fast-changing environment with minimal supervision.
- Ideally, exposure to manufacturing or process industries and knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics (D365FO, Dynamics AX).
- Holder of at least two of the following BCS qualifications:
- BCS Foundation – Business Analysis Foundation
- BCS Practitioner – Business Analysis Practice
- BCS Practitioner – Modelling Business Processes
- BCS Practitioner – Requirements Engineering
Location
Hybrid, a mix of office and homeworking. This role will be based at our Peterborough offices on the Lynchwood Business Park.
