Job Title: Self-Employed Farm Assessor
Location: Lancashire & Scotland
Does being outdoors, travelling between farms, and supporting the dairy industry appeal to you? If so, we want to hear from you! We are seeking self-employed farm assessors to carry out farm assessments on a nationwide project.
This role offers the freedom to work across the beautiful countryside, visiting dairy farms and conducting assessments.
What you'll do:
- Assess Animal welfare
- Assess Hygiene and Farm cleanliness
- Complete farm record checks
- Collect carbon footprint data
- Conduct and update computerised records throughout the year.
What we need from you:
- Effective communication with farmers
- IT literatacy
- Dedication and self-motivation, managing your own time whilst working to deadlines.
- An agricultural background with good knowledge of dairy farming
- RoMS accredited or willing to complete the qualification at your own cost.

Our main assessment period is from May - November with varying deadlines dependant on the customer.
