Job Title: R&D Scientist

Join AB Neo in an exciting role at the heart of our vibrant R&D team, developing advancements in animal nutrition and innovation. Based at our up-to-date innovation farm, you'll manage the process of designing, executing, analysing, and interpreting pioneering research trials, while coordinating impactful external collaborations with universities.
Initially focusing primarily on pig nutrition, this role offers a great opportunity to expand your skills across other farm animal species as our business grows. Collaborate with our team of scientists and nutritionists, advancing R&D excellence and making meaningful contributions to the industry's future.
Some key responsibilities will include
- Collaborate and manage the research programme within AB Neo
- Facilitate rapid progress of internal and external R&D projects through project management or coordination of activities
- Generate trial protocols, data recording, data extraction and transformation, statistical analysis, reporting and presentation of results
- Deliver collaborative research across AB Neo and with universities to support maintaining our market position of high-quality research in neonate nutrition
- Maintain an understanding of market, customer developments across the ABNeo business.

- A relevant scientific degree like PhD in relevant scientific or discipline.
- Extensive background in experimental design, data handling and statistical analysis in animal
- science research to a standard suitable for publication in peer-reviewed scientific journals
- Advanced use of statistical software programmes, and Microsoft office
- Experience of working in animal science in a similar role
- Experience in diet formulation
- Experience in project management
