AB Neo is looking for a skilled Supply Chain Finance Business Partner to join our growing finance team. In this pivotal role, you’ll collaborate closely with our manufacturing, procurement, and logistics leads—providing robust financial analysis and strategic support that enhances supply chain efficiency and delivers long-term value across our European operations.
What you’ll be doing:
- Partner with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics teams to provide financial insight and performance across the supply chain.
- Develop and implement financial strategies that optimise operational efficiency and contribute to business growth.
- Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes for supply chain activities, making sure they are in line with broader business objectives.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including cost control, inventory management, and supplier performance.
- Deliver accurate, insightful reporting on key metrics, highlighting trends and recommending actions to senior stakeholders.
- Support supply chain projects by building business cases, developing financial models, and conducting post-implementation reviews.
- Identify and advocate for cost-saving opportunities and continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
- Build effective working relationships across the business, acting as a trusted advisor to the Supply Chain Director and leadership team.
What you’ll bring:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a professional qualification (CIMA, CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
- Relevant experience in a finance business partner or finance analyst role, ideally within manufacturing or supply chain environments.
- Proficient analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in financial modelling and advanced Excel skills, with experience using ERP and financial reporting systems.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive mindset with a focus for results and continuous improvement.
- Commercial awareness and a deep understanding of supply chain dynamics, KPIs, and cost drivers.
- Flexibility to travel to European sites and build on-the-ground relationships with operations teams.
Location
This role is predominantly home-based and can be performed remotely - visits to our recently refurbished Peterborough office, as well as international travel across Europe will be required.
