You’ll be leading the people agenda within a significant change programme across our UK compound feed mills, working alongside leaders and colleagues to deliver change in a way that’s thoughtful, well‑governed and rooted in strong relationships.
Sitting at the heart of the programme, you’ll work closely with Operations, Legal, Finance and site leadership to bring structure, pace and clarity to the people workstream. From engagement and consultation through to industrial relations and risk management, your focus will be on helping the business move forward while ensuring colleagues feel informed, supported and treated fairly throughout.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading the end‑to‑end people change workstream, including governance, planning, stakeholder management and risk tracking
- Shaping and delivering the industrial and employee relations approach, including constructive engagement with Unite
- Leading collective and individual consultation activity, including potential TUPE and redundancy processes, in line with UK employment law and internal policy
- Advising, coaching and supporting leaders and site managers on people risk, negotiations and dispute resolution
- Developing and delivering clear, consistent communication and engagement plans across multiple sites
- Providing clear reporting and insight into programme governance, highlighting key risks, mitigations and decision points
What you’ll bring
- Significant senior HR experience in a union‑recognised, operational or industrial environment
- A strong track record of leading complex people change or restructuring programmes
- Deep expertise in UK employee and industrial relations, including collective consultation and union engagement
- Sound working knowledge of UK employment law, including TUPE and redundancy obligations
- The credibility, judgement and pragmatism to influence senior stakeholders and build trust in demanding contexts
